Are You Interested in Working From Home?
{Pls note: This course is seasonal, and is not offered throughout the year. I’ll add the new dates as they become available. In the meantime, the links to the course will not work correctly. Thanks! Dar}

Although I mostly share creative business ideas and thoughts here, I know there are a few of you who prefer to ‘telecommute.’
‘Telecommuting‘ is when you get paid to work from home for someone else. It’s a great option when mom needs to earn money from home, but doesn’t want her own business.
Nell, the Telecommuting Answer Lady, is offering step-by-step help to those who want to work from home. Her Telecommuting Bootcamp starts June 4, 2007 (last day to register is this Saturday, June 2, 2007).
In her early days, Nell ran into the scams — and wasted a lot of money and time, trying to find legitimate work she could do from home. Because she knows what moms can go through, she created a way to help other moms avoid the many pitfalls. Nell is more than a telecommute researcher, because she has the hands-on experience to back it up.
You can register for the Telecommuting Boot Camp Here (by Saturday). It’s limited to the first 30 who sign up.
Let me know how it goes for you, if you would.

It is so true that working from home - a dream for many stay-at-home moms - is not a walk in the park. I’ve been trying for a year now - but just ended up many dollars poorer because I bought Ebooks, training manuals, etc. At the end, I couldn’t start because I had ‘information overload.’
Until I learned to FOCUS. And to realize that to have a truly financially rewarding ‘home business’, it will take PERSISTENCE. I will not earn $100,000 a year overnight, not even in a month or a year. It may take 2 to 4 years of consistent daily work.
Why should I keep going? Picture this: If your boss tells you, “Keep working for 5-8 hours a day for the next 2 years and I will guarantee you a salary of $100,000 a year - until you retire.” Would I do it? YOU BET! We fail only when we quit.
“Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
Calvin Coolidge
30th president of US (1872 - 1933)

Hi, Reica! I totally agree with you. Focus is so very important (and some of us must focus on focusing.)
Persistence is equally as important, because without it, we’ve done all that work — only to give up, just before we would have finally known success.
I’m glad you found something that interests you, Reica. Best wishes in your journey!
Warmly,
Dar
