What do you do well?
What do you do well that other people come to you for help with?
That’s the question my friend Liz over at Successful-Blog posed… And, what an awesome question it is. Kind of makes you really, really think, doesn’t it?
I want to share it with you, because most of the time, we’re so ‘close’ to what we do that it’s hard to really see what we’re good at. Or, what others look up to us for…
I’d even go so far to say these things are ‘hidden,’ you know? We may not notice these things at all. Most coworkers or bosses don’t take time to let you know when they notice something special about you. Although to be fair, there are a few who will. (As a former supervisor, I worked hard to do that.)
The responses are fascinating (nearly 40 of them so far, and yep, I’ve read them all, LOL). I left my response there, as well. (You’ll have to scroll down a bit on her page to read them all.)
How would you answer the question? What might that tell you about yourself in your search for a creative career? (Just click on the question below to go read the responses.)
What do you do well that other people come to you for help with?

Of course, I had to go read and post.

Oh that is so great Dar.
I led a seminar Monday for women who want to work from home and I talked about all the questions to ask yourself to figure out your strenghts and passions. One of those was “what do people ask you for advice on?”
Sometimes other people are better at seeing our assets than we are.

Hiya, K.C.
Yep, you do remarkable things with websites for the non-geeks like me.
I’m so glad you met Liz. Isn’t she great?

Hi, Carrie!
Yes, it’s a thought-provoking question, isn’t it? I know you’re really great at helping moms.
I’m sure your seminar was a resounding success (and much needed)!
