Part 5: How to Find Your Very Own Special Niche (so you can use it to earn a living as a ghostwriter)

Those considering ghostwriting as a home business often worry they may not know enough about any one topic.  They imagine they might run out of ideas.

I’m going to show you why it’d be difficult to run out of ideas.  Hang with me for a minute, and I’ll prove it to you.

First, pull out a sheet of paper or a notebook.

Now, jot down the types of articles or books you enjoy *reading.*

All done?  Now, what do the topics on your list have in common?  Are they mostly about…

  • kids
  • parenting
  • health
  • weight loss
  • technology
  • family finance
  • pregnancy
  • fashion
  • healthy eating
  • depression
  • time management for busy moms
  • exercising without feeling as if you’re exercising

Finally, list any situations/concerns you’ve had to deal with (and maybe are still dealing with.)

For example, maybe you’ve had to find answers for dealing with Attention Deficit Disorder.  Or, maybe you’ve come up with ways to get kids to eat healthy foods.  Or, maybe you’ve been learning to cook low-fat foods that taste good.

In Part 6, you’ll discover *Why* you may want to create your own niche in ghostwriting.
