When Your Children Love to Cook…
In When Baking Is Your Passion, we saw an 11-y-o chef in the making. We listened as a 40-y-o single mom shared the story of bringing her pastry business to life…
Today, we hear from a mother whose 13-y-o son and 9-y-o daughter love to cook.
(It’s fun to see this family recognizing and helping their kids celebrate their passion for cooking – and letting them run with it!)
Ah… A few more chefs in the making.
Have you helped nurture the passion of a child (or adult) lately?

What a FABulous article! I must share that my 13 y.o. daughter made an “Expresso infused chocolate flourless cake” for her 16 y.o. cousin’s birthday this past weekend all on her own. It was a recipe even I, an avid baker, would break a sweat to try. I was only floating around the kitchen for her to ask advice, if she needed it. She did it all by herself. I only drove her to her cousin’s to help in the delivery of her masterpiece. It’s such a joy to see our kids blossom in life and find their passions.

Hi, Cee!
Yum! Her cake sounds scrumptious! (Is there a piece left? An expresso infusion sounds really great, LOL.)
Your 13-y-o daughter is a masterpiece in the making. What a wonderful memory you’ll both have, as well.
